Dr. Akel is a highly qualified, Board-Certified Pediatrician with a focus on delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care. He completed his pediatric residency at the prestigious University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas and has made significant contributions to the fields of General Pediatrics, Pediatric Infectious Diseases, and Pediatric Gastroenterology through his published work.  Dr. Akel also completed a Psychiatry Fellowship for Primary Care Physicians at the University of California, Irvine, equipping him to expertly manage both physical and mental health conditions in children.  Dr. Akel brings extensive experience serving diverse communities.
